Designed by Helen B.
Helen has always enjoyed sewing. When her mother passed away, she took some of her inheritance and purchased numerous bolts of fabric so she could sew to her hearts content.
When Helen met Koinonia Senior Care, she chose to make items that would be useful for homebound seniors and donate the proceeds to the ministry. Some of her creations include Adult Clothing Protectors, Walker Bags, and Rice Bags for the Blessing Gifts.
One of Helen’s greatest blessings is being able to serve with her dauther on the Koinonia Senior Care ministry team. They work together on many projects. Priceless!
Designs by Louise
Louise faithfully and lovingly cared for her sweet husband of 58 years who had dementia. Once a week volunteers would come in from her church and visit with her husband so she could attend Bible study. Another day each week volunteers came in for three hours so Louise could go visit and sew with her friends. These blocks of time gave Louise a chance to renew and refresh spiritually and socially.
One of Louise’s favorite Scripture verses is Romans 8:28 because it reminss her that whatever happens in life, the Lord uses it.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those how love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28
